Istana International talks began its 11th round in Kazakhstan

ARK News: The 11th round of the Astana talks began in the Kazakh capital Astana with the meeting of the Russian delegation and the delegation of the Syrian regime.
The Russian president's envoy to Syria, Alexander Lavrintiv said in the opening speech "There are many questions for discussion, but the situation in Syria is gradually improving towards stability, and the latter situation and recent information indicates the success of the military operation to eliminate terrorists in the Swaida area, and the military operation will be expanded to eliminate terrorist groups in the area between East Euphrates and the Iraqi-Syrian border
Lavrintiv added that many issues will be discussed in the eleventh round of the Astana conference on Syria, including the Constitutional Commission, refugees and the situation in Idlib.
For its part, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry announced that all the parties invited to the 11th round of the Astana conference talks on Syria have arrived in the Kazakh capital, including the delegation of the armed Syrian opposition.
The head of the Department of Asia in the Kazakh Foreign Minister Haidar Tomatov told to reporters on Wednesday: "All the participants in the 11th international meeting on Syria arrived in Astana, including the delegations of the guarantor states, Russia, Turkey and Iran and the delegation of the armed Syrian opposition led by Ahmed Tohma”.
On his part, the head of the delegation of the armed opposition factions to the Astana negotiations on Syria, Ahmed Tohma, considered that this platform represents the only effective course currently in efforts to resolve the Syrian crisis.
In this context, a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria Basse Abdi added in a statement to the ARK News that all the conferences held in regarding to Syria are by an international and coordination agreement and each conference has a specificity that serving the guarantor state as a document solution to the Syrian crisis and express its ability and effectiveness in interfering with the Syrian situation and changing the balances of power.
Basse Abdi pointed to the importance of all conferences and their impact on the Syrian political reality, whether all the Syrian parties participated or did not participate.
Kazakh capital Astana has been hosting the 11th round of talks on Syria on Nov. 28-29 with the participation of the three guarantor states (Russia, Turkey, and Iran) and with the presence of the opposition and the Syrian regime delegation, as well as observers from the United Nations and Jordan, and the UN Special Envoy to Syria, Staffan de Mistura heads the international delegation participating in the new round of Astana process
