Damascus Announces New South Korea-Funded Humanitarian Aid Package

ARK News.. Syrian media sources report the launch of a new humanitarian aid package funded by South Korea, worth $38 million, aimed at supporting Syria.

According to the Syrian news agency SANA, the projects will be implemented in partnership with four United Nations agencies to assist children and families in Syria. Under the program, UNICEF will receive $15 million, the UN Development Program $10 million, the World Food Program $10 million, and the World Health Organization $3 million.

The new aid package was officially announced during a ceremony at the Royal Samiramis Hotel in Damascus.
