The release of two new works by the Kurdish writer and linguist Abdul Hakim Muhammad

ARK News… The Kurdish writer and linguist Abdul Hakim Muhammad published a poetry collection in the Kurdish language and a collection of short stories translated from Dutch literature.

In a special statement to ARK News, the writer Abdul Hakim Muhammad said that the printing of my collection, titled “Hestenest”, has been completed, “It is about 106 pages and includes 39 diverse poems about life, death, love, humanity, and homeland.”

Adding: My other book, a collection of short stories for children translated from Dutch literature, was also published.

Abdul Hakim Muhammad, a Kurdish writer and linguist, was born in the village of Girê Bari in Tirbaspiye in Syrian Kurdistan in 1977. He is the head of the Syrian Kurdistan Writers’ Union, and holds a degree in literature from the University of Damascus, “French Language Department.”

His printed and non-printed productions:

- The Language and General Rules of the Kurdish Language - the Kurmanji Dialect (Ziman û Rêzimana Giştî ya Kurdî - Zaravê Kuremancî)
- Translated novel (The Last Departure by “Koça Dawî”)
- A collection of poetry (Hestenest)
-A collection of short stories translated from Dutch literature
- Translated research (“Xaltî”)

In addition to publishing many articles in Arabic and Kurdish in Kurdish and Arabic newspapers, magazines and pages.
