Iran and Russia Reaffirm Commitment to Preserving Syria’s Territorial Integrity

ARK News.. Russian Presidential Envoy to Syria Alexander Lavrentiev met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi in Tehran, just days after Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa’s visit to Moscow.
In a statement on his Telegram channel, Minister Araqchi said he held talks in Tehran with the Russian envoy during his visit to Iran.
According to Araqchi, the discussions emphasized the shared position of Moscow and Tehran regarding developments in the Middle East, particularly the need to preserve Syria’s territorial integrity, counter any violation of its sovereignty, and prevent the country from becoming a hub for terrorism.
