Resumption of Flights at Erbil International Airport

ARK News… Following the suspension of flights last night (Saturday - Sunday), the director of Erbil International Airport announced today, Sunday, April 14, 2024, the resumption of flights at Erbil International Airport.

Ahmed Hoshyar, the director of Erbil International Airport, stated that Iraqi and Kurdistan Region airspace was reopened for flights today, Sunday, at 9:00 AM, and all flights from Erbil and Sulaymaniyah International Airports have resumed.

Air traffic was halted in several countries in the Middle East, including Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, due to increased risks following Iran's attack on targets in Israel.
