Masrour Barzani: Political violence in all its forms must be condemned
ARK News.. Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani commemorated the 10th anniversary of the attempted coup in Turkey, paying tribute to those who lost their lives defending the country's constitutional and democratically elected institutions.
In a post published on X on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, Barzani said:
"On the tenth anniversary of the attempted coup in Turkey, we pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives in defense of Turkey’s elected state institutions."
He added: "Political violence in all its forms must be condemned."
Barzani concluded his message by expressing his hopes for lasting peace and prosperity for neighboring Turkey.
