Statement on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Democratic Students and Youth Union-West.

On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Democratic Students and Youth Union-West, the Executive Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Students and Youth Union issued a statement stressing on to move forward of the importance of advancing the necessary support for youth and developing their rational thought and awareness.

The fifth anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Democratic Students and Youth Union-West is being overlooked up. On this day in 2013 and after the Constituent Conference, a group of youth and students from Kurdistan of Syria organized a student and youth organization named (the Kurdistan Democratic Students and Youth Union-West).
The founding of our union came from the fact that the section of students and youth have an important role in the Kurdistan society, which is one of the productive sectors because of their energies, awareness and perception that will lead the society and help to develop the development of rational thought and awareness among the Kurdish masses and strive to achieve goals and meet the aspirations of young people and students.
And the need for an incubator to include young people and students in Kurdistan of Syria and organize their energies and talents.
The establishment of our Union is as a natural result and a healthy democratic state to attract students and young national revolutionary and protect them from being dragged behind everything that harms the Kurds and their right issue, and promote the position of students and youth at the center of the political decision within the Kurdistan community.

The fifth anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Democratic Students and Youth Union coincides with the passing Kurdistan of Syria and other Kurdistan parts in particular and the region, in general, the most difficult and the darkest circumstances, therefore, one of the priorities of this minute stage requires for all of us to unite and solidarity and wrap around each other, and defend our strategic national project led by the protector of the project, President Masoud Barzani in order to reach our goal and to promote the banner of Kurdistan over all the peaks of the land of Kurdistan.
Today, five years after the birth of our organization, the Kurdistan Democratic Students and Youth Union Rojava continues and persistent to follow the footsteps of the spiritual father of the Kurdish nation, Barzani the immortal, and continue to work to achieve and realize our holy approach Kurdish people and continue his blessed history of struggle.

Today we are honored by the lit of the fifth candle of the birth of our union. We express our pride and glory in what we have achieved and provided the clear services to students and young people and to stand by their side and their issues. In this short period, we have been able to help students and encourage them to continue their education and motivate them to meet their requirements at all levels. As we have been able to strengthen and deepen the foundations of democracy and justice and the spirit of tolerance and love within the youth and students and develop their energies, talents, and creativity in a correct and balanced direction.
