Trump: Situation in Iran Is a “Humanitarian Crisis of Epic Proportions”

ARK News.. US President Donald Trump said Iran is failing to pay large segments of its military while accusing Iranian authorities of killing protesters at unprecedented levels.
In a post on his Truth Social platform on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, Trump said people were being killed even when they were not taking part in protests.
Trump described the situation in Iran as a “humanitarian crisis of epic proportions” and called for an immediate end to the violence.
His remarks came amid heightened US pressure on Tehran, including a new campaign announced by Washington to economically isolate Iran.
