More Than 10 Indonesian Families Leave Roj Camp in Syrian Kurdistan
ARK News.. Roj Camp in the countryside of Hasaka in Syrian Kurdistan witnessed the departure of 12 Indonesian families, including women and children from families of ISIS members.
According to RT Arabic, the families were transferred from the camp in preparation for their repatriation to Indonesia as part of programs implemented by several countries to recover their citizens from camps in northeastern Syria.
Roj Camp hosts families linked to the terrorist organization of various nationalities, in addition to women and children who were relocated there following the collapse of ISIS control over its last territories in eastern Syria. Repatriation operations continue on a regular basis in coordination with the relevant authorities.
The most recent repatriation operation involved a group of Australian nationals consisting of 21 individuals, including seven women and 14 children, who were handed over to the competent authorities before being transferred to Australia.
