United Nations Stresses Need for Justice and Accountability in Syria
ARK News.. The United Nations Deputy Special Envoy to Syria has reaffirmed the UN’s solidarity with all Syrians who suffered torture and grave abuses under the former regime, emphasizing the need for justice and accountability.
Marking the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, Najat Rochdi, Deputy Special Envoy for Syria, wrote in a post on X:
“Today, we stand with all Syrians who have been harmed by torture. Their courage demands justice and a future in which dignity is restored. The practice of torture in Syria was systematic and widespread, amounting to crimes against humanity.”
Rochdi stressed:
“There can be no healing without justice, no peace without truth, and no future without accountability. The process of political transition and legislative reform must ensure such crimes are never repeated, as the best way to honor those who gave their lives in the pursuit of justice.”

Families of Amouda Massacre Victims: The Blood Spilled Will Not Be Forgotten—We Will Continue the Struggle for Justice and Accountability
ARK News.. The Amouda Local Council of the Kurdish National Council in Syria today marked the 12th anniversary of the Amouda Massacre with a large public gathering that included residents, activists, civil society organizations, and representatives of various political parties. Participants gathered at the Sharmola Cemetery, where a memorial vigil was held to honor the victims.
Abdul Aziz Haj Qassim, head of the Amouda Local Council, delivered a speech highlighting the details of the massacre. He emphasized the need for justice to take its course and for the perpetrators to be held accountable according to the law.
Abdul Baqi Sayda, speaking on behalf of the victims’ families, stressed that the commemoration was not merely about remembering pain, but served as a clear message that the blood that was spilled will not be forgotten, and that “we will continue the struggle for justice and accountability.”
The ceremony also featured laying wreaths of flowers on the victims’ graves in tribute to their memory.

عوائل شهداء مجزرة عامودا: الدماء التي سُفكت لن تُنسى وسنواصل النضال من أجل العدالة والمحاسبة
أحيا مجلس محلية عامودا للمجلس الوطني الكوردي في سوريا، اليوم الجمعة 27 حزيران 2025،الذكرى السنوية الـ12 لمجزرة عامودا، وسط مشاركة جماهيرية واسعة من الأهالي والنشطاء والمجتمع المدني ومن مختلف الأحزابالسياسية، الذين توافدوا إلى مقبرة شرمولا، حيث نظّمت وقفة وفاء لأرواح الشهداء .
ألقى عبدالرزاق حاج قاسم رئيس مجلس محلية عامودا للمجلس الوطني كلمة سلط فيها الضوء على تفاصيل المجزرة، وأكد على ضرورة أن تأخذ العدالة مجراها ويتم محاسبة الجناة وفق العدالة والقانون.
ومن جانبه ألقى عبد الباقي سيدا كلمة عوائل الشهداء، أكد فيها أن هذه الذكرى ليست فقط لاستعادة الألم، بل هي رسالة واضحة بأن الدماء التي سُفكت لن تُنسى، وأننا سنواصل النضال من أجل العدالة والمحاسبة".
كما شهدت مراسم الإحياء وضع أكاليل من الورود على أضرحة الشهداء.

الذكرى السنوية الـ12 لمجزرة عامودا التي ارتكبها مسلحو PYD
تصادف اليوم الجمعة 27 حزيران 2025، الذكرى السنوية الثانية عشرة لمجزرة عامودا التي ارتكبها مسلحو PYD، بحق مواطني مدينة عامودا بكوردستان سوريا.
أطلق مسلحو PYD في الـ27 من حزيران 2013، النار على متظاهرين سلميين كانوا يطالبون بإطلاق سراح بعض المعتقلين لديهم مما أدى إلى استشهاد ستة مواطنين كورد من مسنين وشباب وأطفال.
شهداء مجزرة عامودا هم كلٌ من:
1ـ شيخموس علي
2ـ برزان قرنو
3ـ نادر خلو
4ـ آراس بنكو
5ـ علي رندي
6ـ سعد سيدا
وجرح العديد من الشباب في إطلاق النار عليهم من قبل مسلحي PYD، وتم اعتقال المئات من أهالي المدينة.
وفي الذكرى السابعة لمجزرة عامودا، اعترف نوري محمود، الناطق باسم وحدات حماية الشعب YPG بارتكابهم للمجزرة وأعلن تحملهم الكامل للمسؤولية اتجاه شعب كوردستان سوريا.
وقال محمود: "نعترف بالخطأ الكبير الذي أودى بحياة أبرياء نتيجة تصادم إحدى وحداتنا العسكرية التي كانت في طريق العودة من الجبهة ومتظاهرين تجمعوا من أجل إطلاق سراح نشطاء شباب معتقلين لدى الأسايش".
وأصدرت عوائل شهداء كرامة عامودا حينها بيانا أكدت فيها شروطها للصلح، والشروط حسب البيان هي:
1ـ محاكمة القيادات السياسية لحزب PYD آنذاك الذين اتخذوا القرار ومعاقبتهم.
2ـ محاكمة القيادات العسكرية للوحدات آنذاك الذين نفذوا الجريمة ومعاقبتهم.
3ـ الاعتذار الرسمي والعلني في وسائل الإعلام (المقروءة - المسموعة - المرئية) لأهالي عامودا عامة وذوي الشهداء خاصة.
وقالت عوائل الشهداء في بيان نشروه في الذكرى السنوية التاسعة للمجزرة، إن الجريمة كانت مؤامرة مدبرة وبقرار سياسي.
وأكدت عوائل الشهداء، لأن الجريمة مرت بلا حساب وعقاب كانت النتيجة أكثر من نصف شعبنا أصبح مهاجر أو مهجر، الآلاف من الأطفال والشباب بلا تعليم، لا مستقبل، أصبحنا أخوة أعداء، الآلاف من شبابنا سقطوا ومازالوا يسقطون شهداء هنا وهناك في حرب عبثية قذرة لا ناقة لنا فيها ولا جمل.. وماذا بعد ذلك؟
إثنا عشر عاما مروا على المجزرة ولا يزال المجرمون والقتلة أحراراً دون حساب وعقاب فيما تنظر عوائل الشهداء إنصافها وتحقيق العدالة.

Syria Welcomes Efforts by the Netherlands and Canada at the International Court of Justice
ARK News.. The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the diligent efforts undertaken by the Netherlands and Canada before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), referencing the memorial submitted in the case regarding the application of the Convention Against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, which documents the horrific crimes of mass torture committed by the Assad regime.
The Ministry affirmed that, given the changed political and legal context following the fall of the Assad regime, the new Syrian government will work in close cooperation with the Netherlands and Canada to ensure the objectives of this case are achieved.
In its statement, the Foreign Ministry also highlighted the extensive case files containing massive volumes of evidence documenting the horrific torture and brutal violations committed under Assad’s rule for decades.
The Ministry noted that legal proceedings began in 2019, and since then, the Netherlands and Canada have worked tirelessly in cooperation with victims and survivors, pursuing accountability for the Assad regime’s grave breaches of the Convention Against Torture.
The statement explained that the evidence includes photographs, expert reports, conclusions from international organizations, and witness testimonies, along with conclusive documents confirming that the Assad regime engaged in systematic torture, used chemical weapons, carried out arbitrary arrests, and practiced inhumane treatment in state institutions, causing unspeakable suffering to hundreds of thousands of people.
The Syrian Ministry expressed its appreciation for the determination of victims and their families, noting that their courage and resilience are a powerful reminder that justice must remain a non-negotiable priority. The Ministry also reaffirmed the new government's commitment to a victim-centered approach guiding the entire process, pledging to maintain close engagement with victims and their representatives at every stage.

Erbil and Baghdad Reach Agreement on Oil Export Issue
ARK News.. A member of the Iraqi Parliament announced that negotiations between the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the Federal Government of Iraq have yielded positive results, with both sides reaching an agreement on the issue of oil exports from the Kurdistan Region.
Sherwan Dubardani, an Iraqi MP from the Kurdistan Democratic Party, said on Friday:
“The Baghdad delegation visited the Kurdistan Region yesterday, Thursday, and began its meetings with regional officials at 5:00 p.m.”
He added:
“The discussions were positive, and an agreement was reached on the export of oil from the Kurdistan Region.”
Dubardani also noted:
“The Kurdistan Regional Government delegation will begin meetings with oil companies next week as part of a newly amended draft law, particularly given that the production cost of a barrel of oil has now reached $16.”

Faisal Youssef: The Unified Kurdish Delegation Awaits a Meeting Date with Ahmad al-Sharaa
ARK News.. The spokesperson for the Kurdish National Council in Syria announced that the Unified Kurdish Delegation is still awaiting a response to its request for a meeting date with Ahmad al-Sharaa, head of Syria’s transitional phase, in order to travel to Damascus and open dialogue with the new political leadership.
In a statement to Al-Quds Al-Arabi, Faisal Youssef, spokesperson for the Kurdish National Council in Syria, said:
“The Unified Kurdish Delegation, formed last May, continues to hold regular meetings in Qamishlo—one or two per week—to develop a shared understanding of the outcomes of the Kurdish Unity Conference held on April 26 in Qamishlo.”
He explained:
“Relations among the participating groups are steadily strengthening. We requested that a meeting date with the Syrian presidency be set, but have not yet received any response.”
Youssef confirmed that:
“The delegation will carry demands to Damascus focusing on revisiting the constitutional declaration and the composition of the current transitional government to guarantee Kurdish rights and those of all Syrian communities, in line with the outcomes of the Kurdish Unity Conference.”
He added:
“We Kurds are an essential and integral part of Syria’s national fabric. We are still waiting for the new Syrian administration to take the initiative and open a serious dialogue to address the injustices faced by the Kurdish people in Syria and secure their legitimate national rights.”

Macron: The Current Situation for Minorities in Syria Is Unacceptable—Especially Regarding the Kurd
ARK News.. French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized that the current situation for minorities in Syria is unacceptable, stressing that Paris is closely monitoring developments, especially those concerning the Kurd.
Speaking at a press conference following the European Council summit in Brussels, Macron stated:
“One of the core issues we have raised with Syria’s new leadership is the respect for all components of Syrian civil society.”
He explained that his administration has been clear about the need to respect all parts of Syrian society. For that reason, he held a phone call with Ahmad al-Sharaa, the head of Syria’s transitional phase, to reaffirm this message.
Macron also reiterated France’s commitment to the Kurdish people, whether in Iraq, Syria, or elsewhere:
“France is monitoring the situation extremely carefully. The Kurd can count on France.”

كشف تقرير اعلامي إسرائيلي، عن كيفية قضاء الجيش وجهاز المخابرات الإسرائيلي "الموساد"، على قادة الصف الأول من العسكريين الإيرانيين ، لدرجة انه لم يبقَ تقريبًا أيّ مسؤول رفيع يمكنه إصدار الأوامر بتنفيذ الهجوم المعاكس على إسرائيل.
وفق تقرير لصحيفة "جويش كرونيكل" اليهودية الدولية، راقب عملاء الموساد على الأرض في إيران روتين القيادة الإيرانية العليا لفترة طويلة، وحلّلوا بدقة تحركاتهم اليومية، وردود أفعالهم في حالات الطوارئ.
وحسب المصدر، أنه وبعد جمع المعلومات، أجروا مكالمات هاتفية وهمية تشبه إنذار طوارئ داخلي، وأدى هذا إلى هرولة جميع كبار قادة الحرس الثوري لميدان الصواريخ إلى مخبأ مركزي في طهران، والتجمع في نقطة محددة، تمامًا كما خطط الموساد.
وأوضح المصدر، أنه وبعد دقائق، وبينما كان كبار القادة محاصرين في المخبأ، نفذت إسرائيل غارة جوية دقيقة، وقضت على كامل خط القيادة الإيرانية على الفور.
وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أن هذا الهجوم الدقيق عطّل، بشكلٍ فعّال، قدرة إيران الكاملة على تنفيذ خطتها الهجومية، والتي شملت إطلاق أكثر من ألف صاروخ باليستي في عمق الجبهة الداخلية الإسرائيلية.

أربيل وبغداد تتوصلان إلى اتفاق حول ملف تصدير النفط
أعلن عضو في مجلس النواب العراقي، أن مباحثات وفدي حكومة إقليم كوردستان والحكومة الفيدرالية العراقية أسفرت عن نتائج إيجابية وتوصل الجانبان إلى اتفاق حول ملف تصدير النفط.
قال شيروان دوبرداني عضو مجلس النواب العراقي عن الحزب الديمقراطي الكوردستاني اليوم الجمعة 27 حزيران 2025، إن وفد بغداد زار إقليم كوردستان يوم أمس الخميس، وبدأ اجتماعاته مع عدد من المسؤولين بالإقليم في الساعة الخامسة مساءً.
وأضاف دوبرداني أن المباحثات بين الطرفين كانت إيجابية، وتوصلا إلى اتفاق حول ملف تصدير نفط إقليم كوردستان.
وأشار عضو مجلس النواب العراقي عن الحزب الديمقراطي الكوردستاني، إن وفد حكومة إقليم كوردستان سيبدأ الأسبوع المقبل اجتماعاته مع شركات النفط، في إطار مشروع قانون جديد شهد تعديلات مؤخرًا، خاصة بعد أن وصلت تكلفة إنتاج برميل النفط الواحد إلى 16 دولار".
