The US State Department vows to hold the Iranian regime accountable for suppressing the protests
ARK News... “Negotiations for the Iran nuclear deal are not currently on its agenda.”
The US State Department confirmed that it will hold the Iranian regime accountable for killing its people and the brave protesters.
The US State Department pointed out that the Iranian regime has caused chaos in the region and the world, while the US State Department pointed out that negotiations for the Iranian nuclear agreement are not currently on its agenda.
Democratic Senator Bob Menendez, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee in the US Congress, welcomed Britain's intention to classify the Iranian Revolutionary Guards as an "international terrorist organization".
The Revolutionary Guard is a terrorist group
"The IRGC is a terrorist group that has the blood of countless innocent lives on its hands due to its terrorist acts and violence inside Iran, in the Middle East, and around the world," Menendez said in a tweet on his Twitter account.
He added, "I am encouraged to see that the UK government will soon designate the IRGC as it applies to it."
Menendez's comment comes a day after Leo Docherty, Secretary of State at the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs, revealed to Parliament on Thursday that Britain is considering designating the Iranian Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization, but has not yet taken a final decision on this regard.
"I would be wrong to speculate ... about the outcome of the study that the government is currently conducting on this issue, and it is a study that is being done seriously," Docherty said during a discussion of the situation in Iran, during which some members called for the IRGC to be banned.
