صحيفة إسرائيلية تكشف معلومات عن الرد الإيراني
قالت صحيفة "يديعوت أحرونوت"، إن إيران أوقفت رداً عسكرياً كبيراً على إسرائيل في اللحظات الاخيرة، بعد تحذير أمريكي لطهران بأن واشنطن ملزمة بالدفاع عن تل أبيب، في ظل حديث عن "حوار تهدئة" يدور وراء الكواليس تقوم به طهران وتل أبيب، عبر رسائل تؤكد عدم الرغبة في التصعيد لدرجة نشوب حرب مباشرة.
وقالت الصحيفة إن إيران أجلت في اللحظة الأخيرة تنفيذ الرد، أو أنها قررت تغيير طبيعة العملية، نتيجة لتحذير صريح من كبار المسؤولين في الإدارة الأمريكية، ولفتت إلى أن الغارات الأمريكية الإسرائيلية رداً على أي هجوم إيراني محتمل، ستركز على صناعة النفط والسدود في ايران، لإلحاق أضرار كبيرة باقتصادها.
وسلم المبعوث الأمريكي للشرق الأوسط بريت ماكغورك رسالة إلى وزير الخارجية الإيراني حسين أمير عبد اللهيان، مفادها بأن واشنطن ملزمة بالدفاع عن إسرائيل، بما ذلك قصف أهداف داخل إيران إذا تعرضت إسرائيل للهجوم.
في السياق، قالت مصادر دبلوماسية إسرائيلية، إن "حوار تهدئة" يدور وراء الكواليس تقوم به طهران وتل أبيب، عبر رسائل تؤكد عدم الرغبة في التصعيد لدرجة نشوب حرب مباشرة.
وقالت تلك المصادر، أن إسرائيل وجّهت رسالة إلى إيران، مفادها أنها مستعدة لامتصاص "ضربة انتقامية" محدودة، بموازاة التهديدات المتصاعدة بينهما، لافتة إلى أن واشنطن ترغب بإيجاد صيغة تفاهم تضع سقفاً لطهران وتل أبيب، لا يتجاوزانه، شبيهة بالصيغة التي توصلت إليها لمنع توسيع نطاق حرب غزة إلى لبنان.

America Plans to Deploy Additional Forces to Syria and Iraq
ARK News… A spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Defense confirmed that the United States intends to deploy additional forces in the Middle East to provide extra security for its troops stationed in the region and to bolster regional deterrence efforts.
According to the American network "CNN," a Pentagon source stated, "The U.S. command is working on moving additional forces to the Middle East due to Iran's threat to strike Israel."
The network further reported that the U.S. command intends to enhance air defenses covering American units in Syria and Iraq specifically.
According to "CNN," this move aims to strengthen deterrence forces in the region and protect U.S. military units.
On another note, the Strategic Communications Coordinator at the National Security Council in the White House stated that, given the regional situation, the United States is preparing defensive actions and is moving additional military forces and assets to the area.

Iranian Militias on High Alert in Several Areas of Syria
ARK News… Syrian media sources revealed that areas where Iranian militias are present in Syria have witnessed a significant state of alert over the past 24 hours, amid tension and anticipation of Iranian threats against Israel
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Iranian militias have conducted repositioning and deployment operations in various Syrian areas. They have removed flags and signs confirming their presence, restricted public movements of leaders except for extreme cases, and changed the convoy vehicles used by military leaders.
The Observatory also reported that these measures have been implemented in Damascus, the Qalamoun region, southwestern rural Damascus, areas near the Golan Heights, Aleppo, and its southern and eastern countryside.
Furthermore, the Observatory mentioned that Iranian militias have relocated in the Syrian desert, reduced their numbers in military and oil-related sites, and adjusted their presence in the eastern region including Deir Ez-Zour, al-Bukamal, and al-Mayadin.

Netherlands Temporarily Closes Consulate in Erbil
ARK News… Due to tensions between Iran and Israel, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today, Saturday (April 13, 2024), the temporary closure of the Netherlands consulate in Erbil starting tomorrow, Sunday.
The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in an official statement that the Netherlands will temporarily close its embassy in Iran and consulate in Erbil due to the tensions between Iran and Israel.
The statement confirmed that the Dutch embassy and consulate have canceled all visa and travel appointments to the Netherlands in Tehran and Erbil.
The statement also mentioned that a new schedule for appointments will be determined, but a decision will be made tomorrow, Sunday, whether the closure will continue until Monday (April 15, 2024), in order to ensure the safety of embassy and consulate staff.

Miles Caggins: Kagans: We Asked Congress to Pressure of Resuming Kurdistan Region Oil Exports
ARK News… Miles Caggins, the spokesperson for the Kurdistan Region Oil Industry Association "EPIKOR," expressed hope that the meeting between the Iraqi Prime Minister and the U.S. President would lead to the resumption of oil exports from the Kurdistan Region to Turkey
In an interview with Kurdistan24, Miles Caggins: said, "We are optimistic about the statements issued by both the Iraqi and American sides indicating their desire to reach a common agreement to resume Kurdistan oil exports through the Iraq-Turkey oil pipeline."
The spokesperson for the Kurdistan Region Oil Industry Association added, "As EPIKOR, we have good relations with members of Congress, and we have attempted to convey several messages through them to the White House aiming to resume Kurdistan Region oil exports."
Miles Caggins: continued, "We have asked Congress to pressure the Iraqi government to resume Kurdistan Region oil exports."
Caggins pointed out that his friends in Congress understand the importance of a partnership between the United States and the Kurdistan Region.

Military Cargo Plane Lands at Kharab al-Jir Base South of Rmelan
ARK News… The International Coalition forces continue to strengthen their bases in Syria, as a military cargo plane landed yesterday at an international coalition base in Syrian Kurdistan.
Syrian media sources reported that a military cargo plane belonging to the international coalition landed on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Kharab al-Jir base south of Rmelan in Syrian Kurdistan.
The sources added that the cargo plane was carrying military and logistical equipment amidst flights of international coalition aircraft in the region.

PYD Administration Cuts Electricity to Kobani for Over 20 Hours, Diverts to Manbij and Serê Kaniyê
ARK News… Amid significant discontent among residents, the PYD administration continues to cut electricity to Kobani and its surrounding villages in Syrian Kurdistan, reportedly to compel locals to purchase solar panels from its traders and brokers.
Local media sources indicate that the PYD administration deliberately cuts off national electricity to the city of Kobani and its countryside for periods exceeding 20 hours per day, coinciding with a shortage of generator electricity ("amperes").
The media sources affirm that the PYD administration ignores demands from the people of Kobani to provide basic services to the city, forcing citizens to buy solar panels from PYD administration traders and brokers.
Local sources add that the cost of installing solar panels for a single house ranges between $1500 to $2000 USD. As most residents are unable to afford this amount for solar panels, many are resorting to purchasing small generators despite the lack of fuel availability.
According to local media sources, electricity is cut for four hours within a 24-hour period in the city of Manbij and in the Serê Kaniyê sub-district under PYD administration control, located south of Kobani city.

هولندا تغلق قنصليتها في أربيل بشكل مؤقت
بسبب التوترات بين إيران وإسرائيل, أعلنت وزارة الخارجية الهولندية، اليوم السبت ( 13/4/2024 )، عن إغلاق قنصلية هولندا بأربيل يوم غدٍ الأحد بشكلٍ مؤقّت.
قالت وزارة الخارجية الهولندية في بيانٍ على صفحتها الرسمية، إن هولندا ستغلق سفارتها في إيران وقنصليتها في أربيل بشكلٍ مؤقّت، بسبب التوترات بين إيران وإسرائيل.
وأكّد البيان، أن سفارة هولندا وقنصليتها ألغتا جميع مقابلات التأشيرة والسفر إلى هولندا في طهران وأربيل.
وجاء في البيان أيضا: سيتم تحديد جدولٍ آخر للمواعيد والمقابلات، لكننا سنقرر غداً الأحد ما إذا كان الإغلاق سيستمر حتى يوم الاثنين (15 نيسان 2024) أم لا، حفاظاً على حياة موظفي السفارة والقنصلية.

أعرب ،مايلز كاغينز، المتحدث باسم جمعية الصناعة النفطية بإقليم كوردستان "أبيكور"عن أمله من أن يؤدي لقاء رئيس الوزراء العراقي بالرئيس الأميركي إلى استئناف تصدير نفط إقليم كوردستان إلى تركيا.
خلال مقابلة مع قناة كوردستان24 قال مايلز كاغينز: " نحن متفائلون بشأن البيان الصادر عن الجانبين العراقي والأميركي بأنهما يريدان التوصل إلى اتفاقٍ مشترك لاستئناف تصدير نفط كوردستان عبر خط أنابيب النفط العراقي التركي".
وأضاف المتحدث باسم جمعية الصناعة النفطية بإقليم كوردستان: "بصفتنا جمعية الصناعة النفطية "إبيكور"، لدينا علاقات جيدة مع أعضاء الكونغرس، وحاولنا من خلالهم تمرير عدة رسائل إلى البيت الأبيض بهدف استئناف صادرات نفط إقليم كوردستان".
وتابع مايلز كاغينز: طلبنا من الكونغرس الضغط على الحكومة العراقية لاستئناف تصدير نفط إقليم كوردستان.
وأشار كاغينز إلى أن أصدقاؤه في الكونغرس يدركون مدى أهمية أن تكون هناك شراكة بين الولايات المتحدة وإقليم كوردستان".
