During their meeting, the two sides discussed the situation in Iraq and stressed the importance of supporting the political process, safeguarding stability, and continuing dialogue among all parties in service of the country’s broader national interest.
The repercussions of the wider situation in the Middle East also formed another key topic of discussion, with both sides agreeing on the necessity of preserving regional stability.
