Europe: Kurdish National Council Urges Kurdish Communities Not to Join Demonstrations
ARK News.. The European Representation of the Kurdish National Council (KNC) in Syria has called on Kurdish communities across European Union countries not to participate in demonstrations organized by some European political groups.
The following is the full text of the statement:
Statement to Members of the Kurdish Community in Europe
The European Representation of the Kurdish National Council in Syria calls on members of the Kurdish community in Europe not to participate in demonstrations called for by certain European political groups, scheduled to take place in Germany on October 31, 2026, and in any subsequent demonstrations in other European countries.
The call is intended to protect the interests and achievements of our communities and avoid any negative repercussions for members of our people living abroad.
While appreciating the security, stability, employment and educational opportunities, freedoms, and protection of national and cultural identity that European countries, particularly Germany, have provided to our people, we stress the importance of preserving these achievements and strengthening our positive relations with European societies.
Accordingly, we urge members of our community to act with awareness and responsibility, prioritize the public interest, and preserve Kurdish unity in a manner that serves our just national cause and the interests of our people living abroad.
