Al-Shaibani and Safadi Discuss Bilateral Relations and Developments in Syria and the Region
ARK News.. Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani met Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi in the Jordanian city of Aqaba on Thursday, October 22, 2026, to discuss bilateral relations and the latest developments in Syria and the region.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen relations between the two countries across various fields, as well as preparations for the third session of the Syria–Jordan Higher Coordination Council, scheduled to take place in Damascus next month.
The meeting also addressed developments in Syria and the wider region and their implications for both countries. The two ministers stressed the importance of continuing joint coordination and consultation in a way that serves the interests of both peoples and contributes to strengthening regional security and stability.
