Trump: We Will Never Allow Iran to Obtain a Nuclear Weapon

U.S. President Donald Trump reaffirmed that the United States' strategic objective in the current conflict is to ensure that Iran never acquires a nuclear weapon under any circumstances.
Speaking in a phone interview with News Nation, Trump dismissed Iran's recent announcement suspending its commitments to security agreements, saying, "I don't care about that at all."
Trump also described the deaths of two U.S. service members in Jordan as a tragedy, saying they gave their lives in service to their country, and reiterated that "the United States will never allow Iran to possess a nuclear weapon."
Earlier, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that two American soldiers were killed while on duty in Jordan during efforts to repel Iranian missile and drone attacks. CENTCOM also reported that one service member remains missing and four others were injured in the incident.
