Israeli Forces Advance into Several Villages in Southern Quneitra Countryside
ARK News.. A Syrian news source reported that an Israeli military force advanced into several villages in the southern countryside of Quneitra Governorate, establishing a military checkpoint west of the village of Saida al-Golan.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), a force consisting of seven Israeli military vehicles crossed through the Til Abu al-Ghithar Gate on Monday, July 20, 2026. Five of the vehicles headed toward the village of al-Razaniya, while the remaining two took up positions west of the village of al-Hanout.
The source added that Israeli troops set up a military checkpoint west of Saida al-Golan, where they stopped and searched passersby. The deployment coincided with intensive drone activity over the area.
No immediate comment was issued by the Israeli military regarding the reported operation.
