Tom Barrack: Kurdistan Region Plays a Key Role in the Stability of Iraq and the Region
ARK News.. The U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Syria and Iraq, Tom Barrack, has affirmed that the Kurdistan Region plays an important role in maintaining stability in Iraq and across the wider region.
Speaking in Washington, Barrack expressed his pleasure at meeting Bayan Sami Abdul Rahman, adviser to the prime minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, stating:
"The Kurdistan Region is an important pillar of stability and peace, and it plays a major and vital role in achieving peace throughout the region."
Barrack added: "The Kurdistan Region continues to play a key and effective role in promoting stability, peace, and prosperity across Iraq and the broader region."
