Syrian President Issues New Appointments in Security Institutions

ARK News.. Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa has issued a new round of appointments within the country's security institutions, assigning several senior leadership positions.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), Anas Khattab was appointed director of the National Security Office while continuing to serve as minister of interior.
The appointments also include Hussein Al-Salama as deputy director of the National Security Office and Mulham al-Shantout as deputy minister of interior for security affairs.
In addition, Abdul Qadir Tahan was appointed Head of the General Intelligence Service.
