Kurdistan Region President Receives French Ambassador to Iraq
ARK News.. Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani received Patrick Durel, the French Ambassador to Iraq, on the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic mission.
During the meeting, President Barzani thanked the French ambassador for his efforts to strengthen France's relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, wishing him success in his future assignments.
For his part, Ambassador Durel expressed his gratitude to President Nechirvan Barzani and the relevant authorities in the Kurdistan Region for their continued cooperation and support, which contributed to the success of his mission. He also reaffirmed France's commitment to further developing bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across various fields.
The meeting was also attended by Yann Braem, the French Consul General in the Kurdistan Region.
