ARK News… Since the PYD received the authority of Syrian Kurdistan from the Syrian regime, the complexities of the security, political, service, and living situation are increasing, which burdens the citizens in the areas of the PYD in Syrian Kurdistan. The search for a “smuggler” to cross the Syrian border has become a preoccupation and the talk of the hour for the population.

A citizen from Derbasiya revealed to BasNews that his 25-year-old son had left for 3,500 US dollars to Turkey with a number of other young men through smugglers from the area after the smuggler secured the borders from the side of the PYD forces near Derbasiya.

According to the report, the Turkish border guards removed part of the concrete wall separating Turkey’s borders from Syrian Kurdistan, opposite the city of Derbasiya, adjacent to the border, in mid-June and allowed dozens of Kurdish youths and families to cross the border, leaving behind the misery of their lives to escape bitter reality.

For his part, citizens from Derbasiya reported that the Turkish border guards were only allowing the Kurds to cross, and in return, they would return those of the Arab component and not allow them to leave Syria.

Observers say: This behavior is a clear and agreed matter, albeit in a veiled way, between Turkey and the PYD militants to empty the region of the Kurds and change the demographic map in Syrian Kurdistan.

They see this methodology in the management of the PYD to restrict the Kurds by pushing them to emigrate and collecting large sums of money from the smugglers associated with them, the aim of which is to empty the region of the Kurds and collect large sums of money from them.

The border smugglers of the PYD raised the “prices” of smuggling people from Syrian Kurdistan across the Turkish border to sums of up to 4000 US dollars per person.
