Abbas Araghchi: Iranian Strikes on Urban Areas in Neighboring Countries “Not Our Fault”
ARK News.. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Iranian attacks on urban areas in neighboring countries are “not our fault,” blaming the United States for relocating its forces from military bases into city hotels.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, Araghchi said: “We have not limited our operations to official enemy bases. Wherever U.S. forces are present, and wherever their facilities exist, we have targeted them.”
He added: “Some of these locations may be close to urban areas. This is not our fault, but America’s. They withdrew their forces from military bases and housed them in city hotels. Overall, U.S. behavior is what has brought the region to this point.”
The remarks come amid ongoing escalation between Iran and the United States in the region.
