Pakistan Calls on Iran to De-escalate and Exercise Restraint

ARK News.. Pakistan's Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, called for "de-escalation" and "restraint" among the parties involved in the conflict surrounding Iran during a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, on Sunday, July 12, 2026.
In a statement issued after the call, Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the two ministers exchanged views on the latest regional developments.
The ministry added that Dar stressed "dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable path to resolving disputes and achieving lasting peace and stability in the region."
