Israeli Forces Incursion into Sida al-Golan Village in Quneitra Countryside
ARK News.. An Israeli military force entered the village of Sida al-Golan in the southern countryside of Syria's Quneitra province on Thursday, according to Syrian state media.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), an Israeli force consisting of three military vehicles established a temporary checkpoint at the entrance to the village on Thursday, July 9, 2026, before advancing toward the Mazra’at al-Wabid junction, where troops set up another temporary checkpoint and inspected passing civilians and vehicles before later withdrawing from the area.
The reported incursion comes two days after another Israeli force, supported by a tank and two military vehicles, advanced along the Wadi al-Raqqad road in the western countryside of Daraa. According to the report, Israeli troops opened fire toward the valley before withdrawing from the area.
