The eighth anniversary of the martyrdom of four of the Roj Peshmerga
ARK News: On January 7, 2023, marks the eighth anniversary of the martyrdom of four of the Roj Peshmerga, who were martyred in defense of the Kurdistan land in its war against the terrorist organization ISIS.
The Peshmerga: Bassam Khalaf, Basil Haji, Ghamgin Qadri, and Amgiyan Badini were martyred on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at the Al-Kharayej School in Tal Afar while they were participating in the war against ISIS in the Kurdistan Region.
The ISIS terrorist group targeted the Peshmerga forces on Wednesday 7-1-2015 by detonating a "Hummer military" vehicle at the entrance to one of the Peshmerga forces gathering points in (Bar Hiyo Village) in Tal Afar, which resulted in the martyrdom of 4 Roj Peshmerga.
The martyrs are:
1 - The Peshmerga martyr (Bassam Muhammad Khalaf) from the village of Girziyarat Jolly - Derik city, Syrian Kurdistan.
2- The Peshmerga martyr (Basil Haji Haji), from the village of Tal Khan, in the Derik region of Syrian Kurdistan.
3- The martyr Peshmerga (Ghamgin Qadri Othman), from the village of Derona Qulinga - Derik city, Syrian Kurdistan.
4 - The martyr Peshmerga Amgiyan Mustafa Badini from Hasaka (Mufti neighborhood) in Syrian Kurdistan.
At that time, thousands of citizens of the Syrian Kurdistan received at the Semalka border crossing between the Kurdistan Region and the Syrian Kurdistan on 8/1/2015 the bodies of 4 martyrs from "Roj Peshmerga ", and they also bid farewell to a mass crowd at the Semalka crossing who had gone out with the bodies of the martyrs in front of the forensic medicine hospital in Duhok Governorate, in a procession befitting the status of the martyrs.
