Israel targets one of the Lebanese Hezbollah observatories in Syria
ARK News.. Syrian media source revealed that an Israeli drone targeted one of the observatories affiliated with the Lebanese Hezbollah in the Zabadani area in Damascus countryside, near the Lebanese border.
The local website "Sawt Al-Asima" said that the observatory targeted on Saturday, October 19, 2024, plays a role in securing the illegal passages used by Hezbollah forces to transport weapons from Syria to Lebanon.
According to the source, the observatory is located near the Tala'i' and Khomeini camps, and is supervised by five Hezbollah members on a permanent basis, supported by machine guns to protect the headquarters.
The source added that the Lebanese Hezbollah members withdrew from the Tala'i' and Khomeini camps in Zabadani in Damascus countryside, and evacuated all headquarters and warehouses inside the two camps, in an operation that took place last Wednesday, without specifying the destination of the withdrawal.
