Erdogan reveals the depth of the safe zone in eastern Euphrates

ARK News: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the developments in the region of de-escalation in Idlib, northern Syria, "are not as desired by his country, and a preliminary agreement was reached on the safe area in the eastern Euphrates.

Erdogan said in a statement to reporters: "Tow Turkish control posts ninth and tenth in Idlib, were subjected to some harassment, and after our meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the necessary warnings have been informed in this regard."

"We will meet with US President Donald Trump during the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly in September, and we will discuss again the developments in Syria”, he said.

He continued: "On a safe area in northern Syria with a depth of 20 miles, the US side asked for less depth, and we agreed to this, even temporarily."
