Two brothers from Hasaka have been detained by the Air Force since 2012, and their fate is unknown

ARK News.. Voice of Detainees, on Tuesday 19 May 2020, published a statement about the arrest of the two brothers, Hassan and Hussein Elias Hisso, from the city of Hasaka, in Syrian Kurdistan, since 2012, by the Air Security Intelligence. Requesting from Syrian regime authorities to disclose the fate of the two detainees, and hold them responsible for their safety until they return to their families.

The organization said in a statement read by ARK that both brothers: Hassan Elias Hisso was born in Hasaka (Tal Hajar) 28.03.1983, and Hussein was born in Hasaka (Tal Hajar) 25.08.1992, father: Elias, mother: Wadha Murad, arrested in 2012 in Damascus Barzeh Al-Balad checkpoint of Ish al-Warwar, by the Air Force in Damascus, Section forty. Confirmed that their fate is still unknown to this day.

The detainees' Voice organization demanded the authorities of the Syrian regime to disclose the fate of the detainees, Hassan and Hussein, holding them responsible for their safety until their safe return to their families. It also demanded: " Concerned human rights organizations to intervene to reveal their fate, and work to release all detainees and enforced disappearances in the prisons of the Syrian regime."

The organization added: "According to the news we have, the detainees' family is now in Hasaka, where the father Elias Hisso died, and the family no longer has any breadwinner, and the mother stayed with the detainees wives and children, so we appeal to the benevolent to extend a helping hand to them."
