Germany is considering deporting certain categories of Syrian refugees

ARK News… The local Minister of the Interior in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt, Tamara Zieschenag, launched a call to deport any Syrians or Afghans classified as “Islamist persons” or “security risks” to their country.

These demands come ahead of the start of the conference of local interior ministers of the German states, where the refugee issue and the controversy over the deportation of dangerous individuals will be the focus of the discussions.

In her statements to the German News Agency, Cessnag stressed that "the government must decide on the possibility of carrying out deportations of individuals related to security issues, especially to Syria and Afghanistan."

She pointed out that this is not limited to “Islamists who are considered a threat to security,” but also extends to any individuals who have committed serious crimes.

The government conference is expected to address the issues of deportation of dangerous individuals, with a focus on how to implement these operations.

This comes in light of ongoing challenges, as many countries suffer from complications in organizing deportations, especially to Afghanistan after the return of the Taliban to power, and deportations to Syria are currently suspended due to the situation in the country.

In a related context, the local Minister of the Interior, Tsichnag, issued a warning, stressing “the need for the government to open means of deportation and voluntary departure for these individuals, given the difficulties the police face in monitoring security-dangerous individuals.”

Germany's Federal Crime Agency indicates that there are around 500 people considered to be "security risk Islamists", which suggests they are likely to commit serious politically motivated crimes, including launching terrorist attacks.

With continuing security challenges and public concern about safety, it seems that the issue of deporting dangerous individuals will remain the focus of domestic policy debate in Germany, especially in light of rapid international security developments.
