Araghchi: Trump’s imposition of a "crushing blockade" on Iran seeks to export U.S. crises
ARK News.. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi described U.S. President Donald Trump’s announcement of a "crushing economic war" against his country as an attempt to divert attention from the internal crises facing the United States.
Araghchi said the so-called "Economic Landing Day" was merely a repetition of failed policies that would only lead to "further defeat for Washington and deepen the hostility of the Iranian people."
The Iranian foreign minister warned that the "economic terrorism" practiced by the U.S. administration goes beyond targeting Tehran, posing a direct threat to the global economy and the sovereignty of all states.
The statement came in response to Trump’s earlier announcement of what he described as the "strongest crushing economic operation" in history against any country, aimed at imposing complete economic isolation on Iran and cutting off its financial resources.
