Barzani’s Secretariat Issues Message of Thanks and Appreciation

ARK News.. The Secretariat of President Masoud Barzani issued a message of thanks and appreciation on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, marking the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and President Barzani’s birthday, expressing gratitude to all those who extended their congratulations from inside and outside Kurdistan.

In the message, the President’s Secretariat thanked political figures and parties in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and other parts of Kurdistan, as well as religious figures; foreign friends and diplomats; representatives of religious and ethnic communities; social figures and tribal leaders in Iraq and Kurdistan; civil society organizations, academics, intellectuals, writers, journalists, and all those in Kurdistan, Iraq, and other countries who congratulated President Masoud Barzani on the anniversary of the party’s founding and his birthday through messages, phone calls, statements, articles, and written tributes.

The message said President Barzani expressed his appreciation for the spirit of brotherhood, friendship, and solidarity demonstrated by those who sent their congratulations, expressing hope that the occasion would provide a new opportunity to strengthen the spirit of harmony and fraternity and intensify the efforts of all parties to safeguard the interests and fundamental values of the people of Kurdistan.

The Secretariat concluded its message by wishing prosperity and happiness for the people of Kurdistan and Iraq as a whole, as well as peace and stability in the region and the world.
