ARK News NeThe ghost of arresting young Kurds by the Syrian regime in the areas of Kurdistan Syria ’s areas is emerging again, with it many questions.
Since yesterday, the Assad regime has launched a large-scale campaign to arrest young people for compulsory recruitment and the arrest of those wanted for the reserve service, so the regime tightened the inspection of its strongholds in the city of Qamishlo.
According to special sources, the regime has arrested since yesterday a large number of young men and wanted for reserve service, and was transferred to the special camps, another source talked about the transfer of detainees directly to Damascus through the Qamishlo airport.
According to those sources, the regime arrests young people at the checkpoints of the Nisibeen border crossing with Turkey, a checkpoint near the western furnace, Tartab checkpoint, Zuri roundabout and in the national hospital in Qamishlo.
The regime has expanded its arrest campaigns for compulsory recruitment and reserve service this came the coincides with the claim of the Democratic Union Party (DUP) administration to hold talks in Damascus with the regime, and the regime's promises to restore all areas outside its control unless they return to negotiations.
In Syria's Kurdistan, because of compulsory recruitment and reserve service for the Syrian regime on the one hand, and compulsory recruitment by the Democratic Unionist Party on the other hand, a large proportion of young people emigrated and moved away from their studies and jobs, in addition to the martyrdom of thousands of young Kurds who were kidnapped by them and put them in their battles in the areas of Manbij, Tabqa, Raqqa and Deir al-Azur.
