The Directorate of Agriculture of the Syrian regime in Hasaka said that the total cultivated area with cumin, coriander and black bean crops for the current season amounted to 30 thousand hectares, where some areas of the production area came out as a result of the weather conditions that prevailed in the area two months ago, and the heavy rain that destroyed the cultivated areas.

Bilal pointed out that the coriander, cumin and black bean crops are of secondary crops, which have received the demand by farmers to maintain their cultivation during the past few years for several reasons, the most important of which is the low cost of production and short plant life and the existence of a good local market for purchase and buying of the production.
