The statement issued by the regular meeting of the Representation of the Kurdish National Council of Europe

ARK News: The Europe Representation of the Kurdish National Council held its periodic meeting on 3/2/2019 in Essen, Germany.

After standing a minute of silence on the souls of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland and the call of duty.

The Representative discussed many political and organizational issues that contribute to the activation of the Kurdish National Council in Europe and its development to serve the fair case of our people and contributes to the closer ties and social ties of the Kurdish community in Europe.

It also discussed how to communicate with the Kurdish community, especially the young generation throughout Europe and to benefit from their energies and experiences.

The representative also discussed what is taking place in Afrin from the processes of demographic change, kidnappings, arrests, seizure of property of citizens and condemnation of these acts that violate human rights, as well as to identify the ongoing international and regional talks on the areas east of the Euphrates Safe areas to be held and the latest developments and steps towards reaching a unified Kurdish framework, despite all the pressures on the cadres of the Kurdish National Council and cadres of political parties in the homeland and the continuation of the Democratic Union Party in its systematic policy in order to disrupt the political life and which leads to the obstruction of the objectives that our Kurdish people seek to achieve the national project, for which our youth volunteered in the ranks of the Peshmerga in defence of their just case..


As for the Kurdish events in the month of March, where most of the victories and tragedies of Kurds coincide throughout history in this month, therefore, it was decided at the meeting to carry out many activities on these occasions in all European cities, including the anniversary of the departure of the spiritual father of the Kurdish people Barzani immortal and the day of the Kurdish martyr in Kurdistan Syria and the celebration of Nawroz.
