Domiz camp... The activities of the Duhok International Film Festival continue
ARK News… With the participation of hundreds of films shown outside the main competition, and the nomination of 55 films, including 27 Kurdish films and 28 international films, to compete for the festival’s awards, the activities of the Duhok International Film Festival continue in its ninth edition, which started on Thursday.
The organizing committee of the festival chose the Soz Hall in the Domiz refugee camp, to display the participating films so that the issue that the films of this edition discuss is migration.
Within the activities of the fifth day of the festival, and in the presence of a group of directors, cinematographers, actors, writers, poets, artists, cultural and social elites, and interested parties, the film (Bari Shave) was screened by the film director Ali Kamal Chinar from Kurdistan, Turkey.
It was decided to show the films at the conference of Soz Conference Hall in Domiz camp in Duhok city, for six consecutive days.
