Ghalibav Warns of Consequences of Continued Restrictions on Iran’s Oil Sales
ARK News.. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has warned of the consequences of continued restrictions on Iran’s ability to sell oil, saying that if Iran’s security is not guaranteed, infrastructure across the region will become vulnerable to attacks.
Speaking on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at a ceremony marking the second anniversary of the killing of former Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, Ghalibaf said, "In a region where we cannot sell oil, no other party will be able to sell oil either.”
The Iranian parliament speaker added, “If our security is not guaranteed, no infrastructure in the region will remain safe.”
