President Barzani Congratulates Voice of Kurdistan Radio on 63rd Anniversary

ARK News.. Kurdistan Region President Masoud Barzani on Monday, September 28, 2026, congratulated the staff and employees of Voice of Kurdistan Radio on the 63rd anniversary of its establishment, praising its pioneering role in the Kurdish struggle.

The following is the text of the congratulatory message:

To the management and staff of Voice of Kurdistan Radio,

On the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of the establishment of Voice of Kurdistan Radio, I extend my warmest congratulations to you, the radio’s audience, supporters of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and the people of Kurdistan.

The establishment of Voice of Kurdistan Radio was an important step taken by the leadership of the September Revolution to convey the voice of the revolution, report on battles and the heroism of the Peshmerga, raise the morale of the people of Kurdistan, and strengthen the spirit of enthusiasm and resilience among them. The radio was also a modern means of informing the public about the injustices suffered by the people of Kurdistan and conveying the message of their just cause to public opinion in Iraq, the region and the world.

On this occasion, I extend my thanks and appreciation to all the fighters and dedicated individuals who, from the September and Gulan revolutions to the present day, have contributed to the continuation of Voice of Kurdistan Radio and kept its courageous voice alive and present.

I wish you continued success and perseverance.
