Damascus: Kurdish National Council in Syria Denies Meeting with Turkish Ambassador
ARK News.. The Damascus office of the Kurdish National Council in Syria (KNC) has denied reports that a meeting took place between the Turkish ambassador in Damascus and the KNC in the Syrian capital.
In a statement issued on September 15, the office said that “malicious pages” had published a report claiming that a delegation from the KNC’s Damascus office met with the Turkish ambassador in late August, along with what it described as fabricated allegations.
The office categorically denied the report, stressing that no such meeting had taken place.
It said the reports were aimed at damaging the reputation of the Kurdish National Council and undermining its “national, responsible, and clear” positions.
