Iran: We Will Respond to Any Threat or Act of Aggression Without Geographical Restrictions

ARK News.. Iran’s defense minister has reaffirmed his country’s commitment to carrying out the directives of Supreme Leader Mujtaba Khamenei, stressing that the armed forces will respond immediately to any threat or act of aggression, without geographical restrictions.

Mehdi Akhlaqi, Iran’s defense minister, said in remarks reported by Iranian media that Iran was firmly pursuing the development of its smart combat readiness and implementing a strategy that would enable it to respond immediately anywhere. He stressed that threats would neither take Iran by surprise nor deter it, adding that the country could not be stopped.

Akhlaqi said Iran was also working to accelerate the design, production, and procurement of defense equipment; strengthen its industrial infrastructure, and improve support capabilities for the armed forces.

He added that any aggression against Iran would be met with a “decisive, proportionate, and effective” response, noting that threats would not determine the scope, timing or consequences of Iran’s defensive response.

The defense minister further stressed that Iran would not allow external pressure or the calculations of others to restrict its pursuit of scientific and technological progress, reaffirming the country’s commitment to protecting its security, independence, and territorial integrity.
