On the anniversary of the referendum, President Barzani salutes the Kurds who have not bowed to anyone
ARK News: President Masoud Barzani described the anniversary of the Kurdistan independence referendum as a "special day" while greeting the Kurds who did not bow to anyone.
"This is a distinguish and special day, and my respect and appreciation for those who did not accept to bow to anyone," Barzani posted on his social media account on the occasion of the second anniversary of the independence referendum.
The Kurds held a referendum on the independence of Kurdistan on September 25, 2017, which received an overwhelming majority of votes, and voted 93 percent of the citizens of the region in favor of the establishment of a Kurdish state
