Israel Opposes Any Deployment of Syrian Forces Inside Lebanon

The report said Netanyahu called for the meeting amid Israeli security assessments regarding the situation in Lebanon, although no date for the session was specified.
The newspaper added that Israel opposes any deployment of Syrian forces inside Lebanon and is concerned that Damascus could take steps in that direction.
