Afrin ... An armed group kidnaps a Kurdish citizen for the second time and asks for ransom
ARK News: Members of gunmen wearing the military police uniform carrying forged task carried out the kidnapping of Nuzad Akram Tubal, 37 years old, in Basuta village of the Kurdish city of Afrin and took him to an unknown destination.
“Kurdish citizen Nuzad Akram Tubal from the village of Basuta belonging to the city of Afrin was kidnapped, on Tuesday, by elements who was dressing in military police uniform and carrying forged task with them After his leaving from hospital of three days as a result of he was being beaten and tortured by his first kidnapping when he was accompanied with his cousin Ivan Eido Qasu by masked on 17 September 2018, and was robbed at that time of the amount of three hundred thousand Syrian pounds, and that the gunmen took Nuzad to an unknown destination and his fate is still unknown”, a special source from Afrin city said to ARK News.
According to the same source that "the abductor’s family asked about their son at the military police station in Afrin city. However, the center denied that their son was there. As soon as the evening came, a telephone call from an unknown destination demanded that the family have to pay a ransom of 16,000 sixteen thousand dollars for his release."
Knowing that the village is controlled by the pro -Turkish al-Hamzat faction, and they have fixed checkpoints on all roads which leads to the village.
This is not the first time that Kurdish citizens in Afrin region have been subjected to such terrible violations by pro-Turkish armed groups. Looting, kidnapping, and ransom have become systematic behavior among these extremist groups and factions.
