Masrour Barzani and Alperus Kotrashev Discuss Regional Developments
ARK News.. Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received the Russian Ambassador to Iraq, Alperus Kotrashev, on Monday, June 22, in the presence of the Russian Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, Maksim Rubin.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening and expanding relations between the Kurdistan Region and Russia.
The Russian ambassador noted that the Kurdistan Region holds a special place in the eyes of the Russian government and leadership, expressing Moscow’s commitment to further enhancing ties with the Region.
The two sides also discussed the latest developments and overall situation in Iraq and the wider region.
