
The Kurdish National Council condemns practices of PYD against its parties

ARK News: In an escalating step, the militias of the Democratic Unionist Party (PYD) surrounded the house of the leader of the Kurdish Yekity Party, Farhan Mer’i in Rumailan at 10 am on Friday, while some of his comrades from the Aliyan and Girke Laky area visited him because of a cardiac catheterization. and arrested two of Yekity's comrades, while they were leaving his house, namely Saleh Mer'i and Arfat Abdo, members of the Area Committee, and took them to an unknown destination. They also took the identity card of a member of the Area Committee, Mr. Izzadin Nahmu.
The Kurdish National Council, while strongly condemning these terrorist practices by PYD militias against the parties of the Council and its components and activists, assures to the public that such irresponsible actions will not deter it from continuing its struggle as a bearer of the Kurdish National Project. It also calls on the Kurdish and international forces and international and human rights organizations to put an end to this. Acts which contrary to all international standards, laws and human values.
