ARK News: A Member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria revealed that during the last meeting of the delegation of the presidency of the Kurdish National Council in Syria with General Mazloum Abdi, a file was discussed about the kidnapping of minors, and the arrest of young men for forced recruitment.

During his participation in the ARK Bulletin, Abdul Karim Mohammed, official of the general organization of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, said that the delegation of the Presidency of the National Council in its last meeting with General Mazloum Abdi confirmed his annoyance and objection to the campaign to arrest young people for forced recruitment, and that these arrests do not serve the ongoing talks between the two parties.

A member of the PDK-S Political Bureau added that the delegation of the Kurdish National Council condemned the kidnapping of minors by “Ciwanên Şoreşger” (Revolutionary youth) in Syrian Kurdistan, and stressed during the meeting with Mazloum Abdi that these campaigns will impede reaching a comprehensive agreement between the Kurdish National Council in Syria and the Kurdish National Unity Parties, because these campaigns are contrary to international laws and norms.

Abdul Karim Mohamed also said that General Mazloum Abdi stressed that a solution to the file of kidnapping of minors and arrest of young men for forced conscription, and such violations against youth and children in Syrian Kurdistan, would be hostile to his person, and a flagrant violation of the agreement he signed with the United Nations.
