Erdogan: Turkey does not have any ambitions in Syria and Iraq
ARK News: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that his country does not have any ambitions in any inch of the territory of other countries, stressing that Turkey will spare no effort in protecting itself from the ambitions of others.
Erdogan said on the sidelines of the "Victory Day" celebration in Turkey yesterday that "the sole objective of our struggle in Iraq, Syria, the Eastern Mediterranean and throughout our region is to defend the rights of the Turkish Republic while ensuring the security of friendly and brotherly peoples."
"But at the same time, we show no complacency about the ambitions of others in our territory, the hands that extend to our sovereign rights, and the threats to our independence and future," he added.
