عائلتان لاجئتان تعودان إلى مسقط رأسهما في عفرين
حملة عودة العوائل اللاجئة والنازحة والمهجّرة إلى مسقط رأسها في قرى ونواحي مدينة عفرين بكوردستان سوريا مستمرة, إذ عادت عائلتان لاجئتان من لبنان إلى مسقط رأسمها في عفرين.
قال مصدر خاص لموقع آرك نيوز إن عائلتين كورديتين عادتا يوم الأربعاء ( 3 / 4 / 2024 ) إلى مسقط رأسهما في مركز ناحية بلبلة, وقرية باليا بعفرين في كوردستان سوريا.
منذ مطلع العام 2024 عادت عشرات العوائل اللاجئة, والنازحة, والمهجرة " إلى قرى ونواحي مدينة عفرين بكوردستان سوريا.

بيان الرئيس بارزاني في الذكرى الرابعة والأربعين للإبادة الجماعية للكورد الفيليين
أصدر الرئيس مسعود بارزاني، اليوم الخميس 4 نيسان 2024، بياناً في الذكرى الرابعة والأربعين، للإبادة الجماعية، للكورد الفيليين.
وفيما يلي نص البيان:
عانى الأخوات والإخوة الكورد الفيليين في الدولة العراقية، الكثير من المآسي ومعاناة النزوح، وكانت جريمتهم الوحيدة هي دعم الثورة والحركة التحررية الكوردية.
إن سحب الجنسية من مئات الآلاف من الإخوة والأخوات الفيليين الكورد وإخفاء الآلاف من الشباب الفيليين على يد النظام العراقي السابق كانت جريمةً واضطهاداً كبيرين، وجزءاً من سلسلة الجرائم المنظمة التي ارتكبها النظام العراقي السابق في سبيل تدمير الشعب الكوردي.
على الحكومة العراقية القيام بواجبها في إعادة الأملاك والأموال والجنسية العراقية، وتعويض وإزالة تبعات الإبادة بحق الكورد الفيليين.
في الذكرى الرابعة والأربعين للإبادة الجماعية للكورد الفيليين، تحية لأرواح شهداء الكورد الفيليين الطاهرة، وكافة شهداء الحرية في كوردستان، دور ووفاء الأخوات والأخوة الفيليين تجاه القضية الكوردية وحركات التحرر الكوردية لا تنسى أبداً.

تصريح المجلس الوطني الكوردي حول اختطاف هسام دورسن من قبل مسلحي PYD في ديرك
أصدرت الأمانة العامة للمجلس الوطني الكوردي تصريحا حول اختطاف هسام دورسن عضو اللجنة المنطقية لحزب الشعب الكردستاني-سوريا ، و العضو في المجلس الوطني الكردي من قبل مجموعة ملثمة تابعة لـ PYD في مدينة ديرك بكوردستان سوريا.
وطالب المجلس الوطني الكوردي المجتمع الدولي، والمنظمات الحقوقية ، فضح ممارسات PYD الترهيبية و وضع حدٍ لها.
فيما يلي نص التصريح:
تمادياً في الممارسات الترهيبية التي يرتكبها حزب الاتحاد الديمقراطي بحق اعضاء ومناصري المجلس الوطني الكردي واستمراراً في هذا السلوك المنافي للقيم الانسانية والديمقراطية ، فقد تمّ اختطاف هسام دورسن عضو اللجنة المنطقية لحزب الشعب الكردستاني-سوريا ، و العضو في المجلس الوطني الكردي يوم الاثنين 1/ 4/ 2024 الساعة الحادية عشر مساء ً وسط مدينة ديريك مع سيارته من قبل مجموعة ملثمة تابعة لحزب (PYD) بينما كان عائداً من محل عمله, ولازال مصيره مجهولاً لغاية تاريخه.
إننا في المجلس الوطني الكردي في الوقت الذي ندين فيه بشدة هذه الممارسات الترهيبية، نؤكد لشعبنا الاستمرار في نضالنا المشروع من أجل قضيتنا العادلة ، ولن تثنينا مثل هذه الأعمال ، كما ندعو المجتمع الدولي ، والمنظمات الحقوقية ، فضح هذه الممارسات و وضع حدٍ لها.

Human Rights Network: More than 100 civilians were killed in Syria during March
ARK News… The Syrian Network for Human Rights said in its monthly report that 102 civilians were killed in Syria in March 2024, including 11 children and 14 women.
The report sheds particular light on the victims who died due to torture, and the toll of massacres that were documented at the hands of the parties to the conflict and the controlling forces in Syria in the past month.
The report recorded the killing of 6 civilians at the hands of the Syrian regime, and 5 at the hands of all armed opposition factions/the National Army, while Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham killed two civilians.
The report documented the killing of 9 civilians by the Syrian Democratic Forces, and 80 civilians, including 6 children and 13 women, were killed by other parties.

The report stated that in 2024, casualties continued to occur due to mines planted by parties that the report was unable to identify, bringing the toll since the beginning of 2024 to 55 civilians, including 9 children and 13 women.
Victims of torture
According to the report, in March, the work team at the Syrian Network for Human Rights documented the killing of 5 people due to torture at the hands of the parties to the conflict and the controlling forces in Syria, including 1 at the hands of the Syrian regime forces, 2 at the hands of Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, and 2 at the hands of the Syrian Democratic Forces.
The report called on the Security Council to take additional measures after the issuance of Resolution No. 2254, and stressed the need to refer the Syrian file to the International Criminal Court and hold accountable all those involved in crimes against humanity and war crimes.
The report called for the application of the principle of the Responsibility to Protect (R2P), especially after the political steps had been exhausted through all agreements, statements of cessation of hostilities, and the Astana Agreements, stressing the necessity of resorting to Chapter Seven and applying the principle of the Responsibility to Protect, which was approved by the United Nations General Assembly.
The report also recommended that all parties to the conflict provide detailed maps of the sites where they planted mines, especially civilian sites or those close to residential communities.

Masrour Barzani stresses the importance of holding elections free of any constitutional violations or interference
ARK News… Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, received the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert.
The meeting focused on the importance of holding Kurdistan Parliament elections, as the Prime Minister renewed his full support for them, and stressed the necessity of holding them in normal and legal conditions, far from any constitutional violations, interventions, or pre-planned plans.
Masrour Barzani stressed respect for the constitutional entity of the Kurdistan Region and the rights of all its national and religious components, stressing "the importance of the role of the international community in monitoring any electoral process, in order to ensure its conduct in a fair and transparent manner."
The two sides agreed on the importance of overcoming the obstacles that hinder holding elections and reaching a solution regarding them, “in a way that guarantees the integrity of the democratic process and preserves the stability of the Kurdistan Region.”

ARK News… The Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria stressed the need to adhere to the organizational work and decisions of the party.
On Tuesday (2/4/2024), Muhammad Ismail, Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, held an organizational seminar with Hussein Suleiman, member of the party’s Central Committee, for party members in the Tel Tamr area.
During the organizational seminar, the Secretary of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria spoke about the organizational situation and stressed the need to adhere to the organizational work and decisions of the party, and highlighted the political situation in Syrian Kurdistan, Syria and the region in general.

The kidnapping of journalist Ahmed Sofi in Derik... The third case in less than a week
ARK News… The journalist in the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, Ahmed Sofi, on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, was kidnapped in Derik city in Syrian Kurdistan.
A special source reported to ARK News website that “Gunmen affiliated with the Democratic Union Party (PYD) were stationed at a checkpoint on the Derik-Bana Qasr Road and kidnapped a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, the journalist Ahmed Sofi.”
The source added: "Sofi was heading with some of his companions to carry out a funeral service. He was taken out of the car and was taken to an unknown destination."
Ahmed Sofi is also a member of the administrative body of the Syrian Kurdistan Writers Union. He was born Derik city in 1976. He is married and has four children.
He was kidnapped by "Democratic Union Party militants" more than once, most recently on February 19, 2022, after a raid on his house. He was released about two months later.
On Monday, April 1, 2024, an “armed group affiliated with the Democratic Union Party” kidnapped Marwan Liyani, a member of the Girke Lage Local Council of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, and took him to an unknown destination, according to a statement by the Council.
Member of the Branch Council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, journalist Rakan al-Ahmed, was also kidnapped in the town of Girke Lage in Syrian Kurdistan, on March 31, 2024.
