The European Union is warning of devastating consequences for Idlib's population
ARK News: The European Union warned on Monday of devastating consequences for the people of the Idlib province under the control of Syrian opposition if a military operation is launched.
EU Commissioner for External Relations and Security Policy Federica Mugherini said in a speech at the opening of the EU ambassadors' conference in Brussels that "a possible attack on Idlib could have devastating consequences for people who have suffered enough.”
And stressed that every effort should be made to prevent the serious consequences of Idlib.
In the past few days, international warnings have intensified from the consequences of the Syrian regime and its allies of attacking Idlib, the last area controlled by the Syrian opposition, which includes some 4 million civilians, most of whom are displaced.
