Domiz.. PDK-S and KPDP stress the necessity of Kurdish unity
ARK News.. The Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria (PDK-S) and the Kurdish Progressive Democratic Party (KPDP) in Syria stressed the need to unify the political discourse and create a basis in the Syrian national depth and how to address the Kurdish issue through a joint memorandum of understanding with civilized tools and internationalize it in international forums.
The Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria received a delegation from the Kurdish Progressive Democratic Party in Syria in its office today, Monday, September 30, 2024, in Domiz in Douc Governorate in the Kurdistan Region.
The delegation of the Kurdish Progressive Democratic Party in Syria was headed by the party secretary, Dr. Salah Darwish and a number of members of the regional committee of their party, and they were received by Haji Kalo, a member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria, and Hiyam Abdul Rahman and Muhammad Ali Ibrahim, members of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria.
During the meeting, Haji Kalo welcomed the delegation and Dr. Salah Darwish, and touched on his role in establishing the Kurdish National Council in Syria and the role of the family in serving the Kurdish cause.
Haji Kalo shed light on the political developments and the sensitive and exceptional circumstances that the Kurdish people are going through at all levels, which necessitates the need to intensify meetings to create a basis for rapprochement and understandings and unify the political discourse between the two parties (Democratic and Progressive) in serving the Kurdish cause.
For his part, Dr. Salah Darwish stressed the need for the Kurdish movement to unite and cohesion in light of the current circumstances and the challenges and difficulties that cast their shadows on the Kurdish people, as a result of the state of dispersion, fragmentation and contradiction in opinions among the Kurdish movement.
Salah Darwish added that what is required of the Kurdish movement is to sit at the dialogue table to agree on a common vision, unify the political discourse, create a basis in the Syrian national depth, and how to address the Kurdish issue through a joint memorandum of understanding with civilized tools and internationalize it in international forums, and the desire of the international community to find parties unified in their discourse to rise to the level of international dealings.
Salah Darwish praised the historical relationship between the two parties (the Democratic and Progressive) and their realistic and moderate policies in dealing with the data rationally.
