The fourth anniversary of the departure of the fighter Tawfiq Abdel Majeed
ARK New… Wednesday, October 12, 2022, marked the fourth anniversary of the departure of the Kurdish writer and journalist Tawfiq Abdel Majeed, who passed away in Turkey after suffering a heart attack.
The fighter Abdel Majeed Tawfiq, born in 1952, devoted most of his life from an early age to serving his people and their cause, as one of the loyal Kurdish fighters. He worked in the education field for about three and a half decades, then devote himself to informing his party, the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria.
Tawfiq Abdel Majeed, a former member of the PDK-S Central Committee, and a member of the advisory board was one of the first to join the Association of Kurdish Writers and Journalists / the General Union of Kurdish Writers and Journalists in Syria, since its beginnings.
As a result of the threats he was subjected to, he was forced to travel outside Qamishlo and lived with his family in Istanbul, where he remained until his death on October 12, 2018.
